Chapter Executive Committee

minutesThe Chapter Executive Committee (CEC) is the primary chapter governing body and is composed of officers and directors. Terms of office are for one year. No officer may be elected for more than three successive terms in the same office. The president may not run for consecutive terms.  PRESIDENT
  • Leads and directs the Chapter through its various programs and events;
  • Responsible for managing CEC activities as well as championing the AGA and Chapter with employers, colleges and universities, the media, etc.
  • Governance Committee Chairman.
  • Sits on the AGA Chicago Chapter Growth Committee.

  • Assists the Chapter President and other officers and board members in carrying out their duties;
  • Sits on the AGA Chicago Chapter Governance Committee;
  • Discharges the responsibilities of the office of the president in the event the Chapter President’s position becomes vacant;
  • Prepares and submits CRP to AGA National.

Website Administrator
  • Liaison and manager of the Chicago Chapter’s Website Conversion Project with the AGA National team.
  • Designs, develops and maintains the Chapter website;
  • Works closely with the CEC and other members to ensure that the information on the website accurately reflects the AGA’s current and future initiatives.
Historian
  • Stores, maintains and publishes the Chapter’s historic documents, files and records.
Finance Committee
  • Assists the Treasurer and the Treasurer-Elect with the Chapter’s finances.
